About the center

The hub for research on economic liberty at ASU

The Center is dedicated to the study of the role economic liberty and the free enterprise system play in increasing opportunity and improving human well-being. We initiate research programs, host research workshops and conferences, and fund scholarly contributions by faculty, graduate students and visiting scholars that contribute to our mission. To reach a public audience, the Center sponsors a lecture series entitled “Perspectives on Economic Liberty” and makes available our research and public policy reports.

The Center's programs help to advance the academic and public reputation of the W. P. Carey School of Business, in which it was founded several years ago, and the newly-founded School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, with which it is also affiliated.
