I joined the department of Chemical Engineering Arizona State University as a postdoctoral research assistant in 2008, immediately after submitting my Ph.D. thesis in chemical engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. I hold B.E. in chemical engineering from D.D.I.T. Nadiad, Gujarat, India and M.Tech. in chemical plant design from National Institute of Technology Surthkal, Karnataka, India. My research interest stem from the field of process control which include nonlinear hybrid process modeling and control, process optimization, estimation and filtering and system identification.
